Sarah Bennett currently serves as the Director of Customer & Data Insight at Rochford District Council since November 2022. In addition, Sarah holds a longstanding position at Brentwood Borough Council, where roles have included Director of Customer & Data Insight, Corporate Director of Digital & Customer Engagement, and Corporate Manager of Customer and Performance since January 2017. In these capacities, Sarah has been responsible for overseeing customer service excellence and performance, while also leading critical projects for the executive team. Earlier in career, Sarah managed customer contact teams and facilities, focusing on enhancing customer experiences.

Rochford District Council delivers a wide range of high quality services and is committed to ensuring that our residents remain at the heart of all we do as we move forward to start to deliver a range of plans emerging from our new Business Plan. Elected Members and staff have worked hard to approach this challenge innovatively and going forward we need to continue to innovate as a Council and continue to work collaboratively with our partners. Rochford is a District in south east Essex, a beautiful, scenic area bounded by the River Crouch to the north. We see the District as a place that has many strengths; an environment characterised by substantial areas of attractive countryside; a rich heritage; strong and vibrant communities with a local economy that is growing in stature assisted by the development of London Southend Airport.
