Matt O'Brien

Matt O'Brien has had an extensive and diverse career in the sports and entertainment industry. Matt currently holds the position of SVP, Chief Revenue Officer at Rock Entertainment Group, where they have been since 2022. Prior to this, they served as Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships at 100 Thieves from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining 100 Thieves, O'Brien worked as Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships at the Cleveland Cavaliers starting in 2020. Before that, they were Senior Vice President, Development at Notre Dame Global Partnerships from 2018 to 2020, and Chief Commercial Officer at the National Basketball League from 2018 to 2018.

O'Brien's career also includes roles at the Cleveland Cavaliers as Vice President, Corporate Partnership Development from 2013 to 2018, and at Opening Day Partners / Sugar Land Skeeters & York Revolution Professional Baseball Clubs as President / GM from 2006 to 2013. Matt also served as Vice President / General Manager at Capitol Broadcasting Company from 2002 to 2006, and as General Manager at Long Islands Ducks Professional Baseball / Long Island Rough Riders Professional Soccer from 1999 to 2002.

Matt O'Brien attended Drake University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the School of Journalism and Communications. Prior to that, they studied at Marmion Academy.
