Bobby King

Bobby King has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2005 with APM Terminals, where they served as Operations Superintendent. In this role, they led a team of over 130 senior Union Longshoreman, gaining insight into the inner workings of a highly-regulated, worker safety-focused industry while administering a $24M budget. In 2008, they co-founded Sofie Olgaard, a womenswear design company, and developed and executed a successful business plan. This business was sustained with YOY profitability following the 2008 down economy and secured product placement in 59 stores across Europe and North America. In 2009, they took on the role of Vice President of Special Projects at ODG (Osterhout Design Group), where they collaborated with Product Teams, Engineering, Legal and Operations to identify opportunities and ensure market requirements, product enhancements and focused go-to-market plans. In 2016, they became a Business Advisor at Chronicled. In 2017, they became Managing Partner at Fortune Cookie Authors, an early stage investment firm, and COO & Founder of Rock Paper Reality, which focuses on creating AR/MR/XR solutions for mobile devices and smartglasses.

Bobby King attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies.
