Chief Technology Officer and Founder at Rock Paper Reality

Preston Platt has worked in the AR/MR/XR technology space since 2009. In 2018, they founded Rock Paper Reality (RPR) and took on the role of Chief Technology Officer. At RPR, they focused on creating best in class AR/MR/XR solutions for mobile devices and smartglasses. Preston also acquired 10 patents in AR technologies and developed award winning XR products. In 2018, they also took on the role of Chief Technology Officer at ILLUSIO. From 2010 to 2018, they were Director of Augmented Reality at Osterhout Design Group. In 2013, they were the director and creator of the award winning short film, "Fight For Food".

Preston Platt attended the University of Michigan from 2014-2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Preston then attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2018-2020, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
