Scott Pollard

Scott Pollard currently serves as the President and Lead Instructor at the Security Training Academy of Tennessee since April 2023. Prior to this role, Pollard was a Lieutenant at the Tennessee Department Of Safety And Homeland Security from June 2022 to July 2024 and worked as a Realtor at Keller Williams Realty, Inc. from July 2021 to April 2023. Pollard has extensive experience with the Tennessee Highway Patrol, serving from August 1997 to June 2022 in various roles including Sergeant, Bomb Tech, SWAT Operator, and EDC K9 Handler. Additionally, Pollard served in the US Army Reserves as a Command Sergeant Major from October 1985 to July 2013, with deployments and roles in military police and drug investigations. Pollard's early career included a position as a K-9 Handler at the Henderson County Sheriff's Department from 1991 to 1994. Education includes a Bachelor of Science degree currently pursued at Middle Tennessee State University, alongside studies in Criminal Justice at Park University and Jackson State Community College.
