Jennifer A. Thacker-Burrus

Jennifer A. Thacker-Burrus has held a variety of roles in the design industry since 2008. Jennifer A. began their career as a Graphic Design Intern at The Kaplan Thaler Group in 2009, followed by a similar role at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions in 2008. In 2011, they joined YMF Media as an Interactive Junior Web Producer, where they updated and improved WBLS.com & WLIB.com. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Emmis Communications as a Senior Digital Designer, managing and maintaining three websites and creating Brand Guidelines and Style Guides for concerts and events. During this time, they also worked as an Art Director/Design Consultant for Amaris Designs LLC, collaborating with clients to create conceptual designs for brand and collateral. In 2021, Jennifer became a Lead Designer at Good Call NYC, designing merchandise that amplifies the Good Call message, and a Manger/Graphic Designer at ROCK THE BELLS, designing social media posts, animation gifs, web banners, and package design.

Jennifer A. Thacker-Burrus received their BFA in Advertising Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2009, and their AAS in Communication from the same institution in 2007.
