Claudia Hernandez

Claudia Hernandez is the special assistant to the executive vice president for programs and communications at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. Prior to joining the Fund, she served as liaison to the advisory boards in the office of the president of the Open Society Foundations, and manager of the executive office of the president. Ms. Hernandez has served as election observer in several delegations throughout Central America. She is fluent in Spanish, Italian, and French, and has a working knowledge of Portuguese. In May 2012, she received her Master of Science degree from the School of International Affairs at the New School in New York. As an undergraduate, she studied at the Sorbonne. Ms. Hernandez, a naturalized American, was born in Nicaragua.
