Dennis Kim

Dennis Kim, CFA, currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Alternative Investments at Rockefeller Capital Management since September 2023. Prior to this role, Dennis held positions at Wellington Management from March 2011 to August 2023 as Managing Director and Director of Custom Alternative Solutions, overseeing portfolio management and leading product management in financial services and hedge fund strategies. Dennis was also a Partner at Lenox Park Solutions and held the title of Managing Director and Treasurer at Assured Guaranty from June 2004 to May 2010, where finance and treasury operations were led. Earlier experience includes a tenure as Director in the Investment Banking Group at Merrill Lynch, focusing on mergers and acquisitions as well as capital raising, and an analyst position at William Blair. Academically, Dennis holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.
