Gregory J. Fleming

Gregory J. Fleming is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Rockefeller Capital Management, an independent financial services firm offering wealth management, asset management and strategic advisory to ultra- and high-net-worth families as well as institutional clients. Prior to joining Rockefeller in 2017, Fleming served as President of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and Morgan Stanley Investment Management from 2011 to 2016.

Fleming began their career at Merrill Lynch in 1992, where they spent 15 years in increasingly senior roles, culminating as President and Chief Operating Officer from 2007 to 2009. Gregory then served as a Distinguished Visiting Fellow and Senior Research Scholar at Yale Law School from 2009 to 2010 before returning to the financial services industry as President of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

A native of Norfolk, Virginia, Fleming earned a BA in Economics from Washington and Lee University and a JD from Yale Law School.

Gregory J. Fleming has a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Yale Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Colgate University.
