James M. Beale

James M. Beale is a Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets & Managed Solutions for Rockefeller Capital Management. He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. James is responsible for developing and enhancing Rockefeller Capital Management’s Capital Markets capabilities. Additionally, James is focused on the constant development and enhancement of the Managed Platform.

James joined Rockefeller in April 2020 after 16 years at Merrill Lynch, where he was a Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets Sales within the Investor Solutions Group.

In prior roles at Merrill Lynch, James served as a Northeast Regional Director for Structured Investment Sales and held leadership positions in Equity Syndicate and Product Origination. Before joining Merrill Lynch in 2004, James started his career at Scudder Investments serving in both Origination and Distribution roles after concluding a professional hockey career in Europe and the U.S. James is an active advocate for victims of pediatric cancer and serves as a Trustee and Advisory Director on the board of The Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation. A graduate of Wagner College, James holds his Series 7,24, 63 and 65 licenses.
