Riva Gottesman

Riva Gottesman currently serves as the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Hospital Information Systems and Privacy Officer at The Rockefeller University Hospital, a position held since December 2013. Riva manages the Health Information Department and collaborates with IT to uphold HIPAA standards. Previously, Riva was the Manager of Hospital Information Systems and a Privacy Officer at Jewish Home Lifecare from October 2009 to December 2013, where process streamlining and electronic medical record implementation were key responsibilities. Riva has extensive experience in medical records management and compliance, having held roles at Kateri Residence, New York-Presbyterian Medical Center, Silvercrest Extended Care Facility, Holliswood Care Center, and Wayne Nursing Home, while also contributing to ethical and educational initiatives. Riva holds a Master of Public Administration in Health Care Policy from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art/Art History from Hunter College.
