Johnathan Shearrod

Johnathan Shearrod, MA, currently serves as the Grants and Finance Manager at Rocket Community Fund since February 2023. Previously, Johnathan was the Lead Grant and Contracts Administrator at Wayne State University School of Medicine from October 2018 to June 2023 and worked as a Grants Management Specialist at SARC from March 2018 to October 2018. Johnathan's experience also includes serving as the Senior Grants and Information Manager at Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency and as a Compliance Specialist at Southwest Counseling Solutions. Earlier roles include Intake Referral Coordinator at Community & Home Supports Inc. and Community & Youth Educator with the Peace Corps. Johnathan holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Lake Superior State University.
