Llewelyn Lotz has a strong background in mechanical design and engineering. Llewelyn currently works as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA), a position they have held since October 2022. Llewelyn obtained their Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the Engineering Institute of Technology in 2024. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Military Technology - Vehicles & Mobility at the Eggler Institute of Technology in 2022. In 2020, they also earned a Professional Certificate in Competency in Mechanical Engineering from the Engineering Institute of Technology. Llewelyn's secondary education includes a Matric degree from Centurion High School, obtained in 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Llewelyn has acquired various certifications. Llewelyn completed a course on Engineering Maths, Physics & Chemistry at IDC Technologies in February 2023. In June 2022, they obtained the certification for Advanced Part Design from Onshape, a PTC Technology. Furthermore, they have obtained multiple certifications from Onshape Inc. and ESTEQ, including Release Management & Workflows, Simultaneous Sheet Metal, OnShape Data Management, OnShape In Context Design, OnShape Configurations, OnShape Direct Editing, OnShape Fundamentals, OnShape CAD Introduction, Siemens NX with Teamcenter Integration, Siemens NX Advanced Custom Training, Solidworks Advanced Part Modeling, and Solidworks Essentials. The certifications span from 2017 to 2020, indicating Llewelyn's ongoing commitment to learning and professional development in the field of engineering and technology.
