Rhys Williams

Rhys Williams is an experienced aerospace professional currently serving as Managing Director and Project Manager at Rocket Factory Augsburg since August 2023. Williams has been an active member of the Royal Aeronautical Society since August 2019, where involvement includes chairing the Early Careers Subcommittee within the Space Group. Previous roles include System Engineer at Skyrora Ltd from June 2021 to May 2023, and Aeronautical Engineer at WECORP INDUSTRIES between January 2019 and January 2021. Williams has also been associated with organizations such as the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) and the Royal Academy of Engineering, receiving scholarships from both. Other notable experiences include a turbomachinery internship at Reaction Engines and leadership of a Structures team for a student CubeSat at Imperial College London. Academic credentials include a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London.
