Hyun Jang

Hyun Jang is a seasoned RF Engineer currently serving as a Senior RF Engineer II at Rocket Lab, focusing on the development of advanced transceivers for spacecraft. Previous experience includes a tenure at MDA, where Hyun held roles as RF Designer II and Software Developer II, leading projects such as the Apple Globalstar Project and contributing to the Dream Chaser Cargo System. Key accomplishments include designing receiver and transmitter systems for satellite constellations, optimizing architectures, and automating RF equipment through software development. Hyun's foundational skills were established through various roles in RF design, software development, and team leadership, enhanced by an educational background in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from prestigious institutions like The University of British Columbia and Concordia University. Currently, Hyun is pursuing a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at UCLA.
