Nicholas Gentz is an experienced engineer with a robust background in payload integration and mechanical testing. Currently serving as a Payload Integration Engineer at Rocket Lab since September 2020, Nicholas previously held the role of Integration and Test Mechanical Engineer at Northrop Grumman from June 2018 to May 2020. A graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nicholas also contributed as a Machine Shop Student Assistant at the University and interned at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, where work focused on helium leak testing for NASA's Super Pressure Balloon. Additionally, Nicholas managed a multidisciplinary team for the RockSat-X Project through the Colorado Space Grant Consortium, aimed at providing practical engineering experience for students. Early career experience includes serving as Head Lifeguard at the YMCA of Boulder Valley and the Pikes Peak Region.
