Abhijeet Vijayakar

Abhijeet Vijayakar has a strong and diverse work experience. Abhijeet is currently the VP of Engineering at Rocket Lawyer, where they are responsible for hiring and managing engineering positions. Prior to this, Abhijeet took a sabbatical where they advised early-stage startups and volunteered in teaching and mentorship for computer science education. Abhijeet also served as the Director of Engineering at Hippo Insurance, where they ran the majority of their software platform and built a culture of strategic planning and collaboration. Abhijeet has also worked at Google as a Senior Engineering Manager for the Google Assistant, at Townsquared as the VP of Engineering, and at Zillow Group as the Head of Engineering for Trulia Rentals. In addition, they were the Founder/CEO of BrainNook, an online educational game, and had engineering and leadership roles at Electronic Arts and Beatware.

Abhijeet Vijayakar holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Technology from VJTI, Mumbai University, India.
