Tommy Naugle

Tommy Naugle, PhD, is a highly experienced data scientist currently serving as Team Leader and Senior Data Scientist at Rocket Loans since November 2021. In April 2024, Tommy became a Committer on Apache Mahout at The Apache Software Foundation. Prior to these roles, Tommy worked at C Spire from May 2018 to November 2021, focusing on finance/accounting and innovation/technology as a Data Scientist. Tommy earned a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Mississippi, where Tommy was also a GAANN Fellow from August 2013 to May 2017. Tommy has experience as a Teaching Assistant for Duke University's TIP program, both in 2012 and 2013, teaching math courses to junior high and high school students. Tommy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Louisiana State University from 2008 to 2013.
