Amber Oar

Amber Oar has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Amber started their professional journey as a Division Executive Officer in the United States Air Force, where they led a team and oversaw policy compliance and reporting activities. During their tenure, they successfully executed a furlough plan and reorganized multiple programs. Amber also served as the Program Manager for the Information Technology Business Analytics Office, where they analyzed data and developed strategies to increase efficiency of IT budget utilization, resulting in significant cost savings. After leaving the Air Force, Amber worked as a Project Manager at Upside Business Travel, a Technical Project Manager at Bytelion.com, and a Technical Analyst at Mindgrub. Amber then transitioned into a Lead Technical Project Manager role at Mindgrub, where they were responsible for managing technical projects and ensuring successful delivery. Most recently, Amber held the position of Technical Project Manager and Senior Analytics Engineer at Rocket Money (formerly Truebill), where they showcased their expertise in analytics and project management. Overall, Amber Oar has accumulated valuable experience in project management, analytics, and leadership roles throughout their career.

Amber Oar has a Master of Public Policy degree in International Security and Economic Policy from the University of Maryland, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Legal Studies and Political Science from the United States Air Force Academy, where they attended from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Amber Oar has obtained certifications in Python programming. Amber completed the Python 3 Programming Specialization from Coursera in January 2021 and the Google IT Automation with Python Specialization in December 2020.
