Colby Dimock

Colby Dimock has diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They began their career as an Intern at the Alabama Republican Party, where they focused on graphic design for social media and creating materials for candidates. Following that, they worked as an Operations Manager at JMH Ventures Ltd for a brief period. They then took on the role of a Radon Inspector at Champia Real Estate Inspections.

In 2016, Colby joined Cardinal Web Solutions, LLC as an SEO Consultant and later served as a Search Engine Optimization Intern. They gained knowledge in SEO fundamentals and worked on various projects such as link building, keyword research, and website optimization.

From 2017 to 2019, Colby worked at Nebo Agency as a Jr. SEO Specialist and later as an SEO Specialist, focusing on search engine optimization strategies.

In 2019, they joined Wahoo Fitness as a Test Engineer, primarily working on manual testing of iOS and Android applications. They then transitioned to the role of a Software Test Engineer, where they specialized in test automation for fitness applications. Colby also served as a Release Engineer, automating the release process for multiple applications and improving code quality.

Currently, Colby Dimock is a Release Engineer at Rocket Money (formerly Truebill), responsible for optimizing the release process for the iOS and Android applications. Their focus is on automating the CI/CD process, increasing code quality, and improving feedback speed for developers.

Colby Dimock earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Samford University between the years 2013 and 2017. Prior to that, they attended Norcross High School from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Colby obtained several certifications including AdWords Mobile Certification from Google in May 2017, HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot Academy in July 2017, Google Analytics Individual Qualification also from Google in May 2017, and Mobile Sites Certification from Google in August 2018.
