John Maitland

John Maitland has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in design and technology.

Starting in 2009, John worked as a Student Audio/Visual Tech for Prince William County Schools, providing technical support and maintaining equipment for the Forest Park High School auditorium.

In 2013, John joined Virginia Commonwealth University as a Digital Tech in the Department of Special Collections, where they utilized their skills in the digital realm.

Moving into the professional design field, John joined BCWH Architects in 2014 as a Design Intern, gaining experience in architectural design.

In 2015, John moved on to Riggs Ward Design, where they started as an Intern and later became an Exhibit Designer.

In 2017, John joined Campfire & Co. as a Designer and eventually transitioned to the role of Brand Designer in 2018.

In 2021, John joined Rocket Money as a Visual Designer, and later took on the role of Lead Visual Designer in 2022.

Throughout their career, John has continuously developed their skills in design and technology, making him a valuable asset in the industry.

John Maitland attended the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design.
