Tynan Conner has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2012 and 2014, they worked as a Geologist for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), where they gained knowledge about domestic and foreign REE deposits and contributed to building the USMIN mineral deposit database. In 2013, they joined NovaCopper Inc. as a Geologist, conducting fieldwork in Bornite, AK, to support their master's thesis. Tynan returned to NovaCopper Inc. in 2015 as a Geologist, focusing on Gold and Copper exploration in the Brooks Range of Alaska. From 2016 to 2021, Tynan worked at ODN, first as a Media Buyer, developing out-of-home media campaigns for major brands, and later as the Head of Media Strategy, leading media planning and negotiation strategy for clients including Panera Bread and Bellhop. In 2017, they founded Hattanooga, a lifestyle brand involved in brand partnerships, influencer marketing, digital and e-mail marketing, product design, community building, PR, and customer experience. Currently, Tynan is the Director of Growth Marketing, Offline, at Truebill, where they are responsible for driving growth through offline marketing channels.
Tynan Conner completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geology/Earth Science, General at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 2007 to 2011. Later, from 2011 to 2014, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Economic Geology at the Colorado School of Mines.
