Erika A. Zannou-Mantri

Erika A. Zannou-Mantri has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Erika A. is currently the Senior Vice President of Development Operations and Global Program Head at Rocket Pharmaceuticals. In this role, they are responsible for leading the LAD-I program and preparing for the company's first Biologics License Application. Erika A. also oversees the development operations for Rocket Pharma's gene therapy programs.

Prior to joining Rocket Pharmaceuticals, Erika worked at Novartis for over 20 years. During their time there, they held various roles of increasing responsibility. Erika A. served as the Vice President and Global Program Head for Respiratory Drug Development, where they led a multidisciplinary team in developing strategies for respiratory drug development and market access. Erika A. also led the digital team in developing solutions to maximize the value of drug assets and support patient journey.

Erika also served as the Executive Director and Franchise Head of Oncology Technical R&D, overseeing technical strategy development and execution for the oncology portfolio. Erika A. provided strategic direction to a team of senior technical leaders and played a key role in the commercialization of several drugs.

Earlier in their career at Novartis, Erika held roles as the Director of Technical Project Management and Associate Director of Functional Project Leader. Erika A. also worked as a Senior Fellow, Fellow, and Senior Scientist.

Erika A. Zannou-Mantri completed their education with a Ph.D. (Honors) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from The University of Kansas in 2000. Prior to that, they received a Pharm. D. (Honors) degree in Pharmacy from Université François Rabelais in Tours, France in 1995. Their education continued with an E.M.B.A degree in Strategy, Leadership, and Corporate Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, which they completed in 2013.
