Sam Duvall

Co-Founder, CTO at Rocket Whale

Sam Duvall has been working in the technology industry since 2003. Sam began their career at DRT, where they served as Manager of RF Software. In this role, they designed and built a software framework used to calibrate and test RF hardware for engineering validation and production test. Sam also recruited, managed, and trained interns and full-time employees. In 2011, Sam co-founded Rocket Whale, Inc., where they served as CTO. In this role, they worked with a team to design and develop real-time, data-driven websites, and applied the latest technologies to ensure customer success. In 2013, Sam co-founded Blissbook, where they served as CTO. In this role, they created, distributed, and maintained a digital employee handbook. In 2014, Sam participated in the Flashpoint cohort at Georgia Tech, where they learned about the startup engineering process.

Sam Duvall obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland between 1999 and 2003. Sam also attended Flashpoint but did not receive a degree. Sam does not have any additional certifications.
