Kelly Ann Doherty

Kelly Ann Doherty serves as Chief People, Places and Culture Officer for Rocket. A culture enthusiast and expert, Kelly Ann leads the teams responsible for shaping Rocket’s people and culture strategy – bringing together human resources, talent, DEI and workplace experience to create environments where every team member feels seen, valued and inspired.

Previously, Kelly Ann served as Executive Vice President and Chief Experience Officer for Mr. Cooper Group until the company became a part of Rocket in October 2025. In that role she oversaw all facets of the team member experiences, including human resources, brand, marketing, digital user experience, corporate communications, diversity and inclusion, team member events and programs, facilities, procurement and security.

Kelly Ann is seasoned in navigating the landscape of the financial services industry with experience as a crisis spokesperson, public affairs expert, communications innovator and executive advisor. She joined Mr. Cooper in 2016 and held several leadership roles during her tenure, including Chief Administrative Officer and Chief People and Communications Officer.

Before joining Mr. Cooper, Kelly Ann was Vice President of Corporate Communications at Elevate, a financial technology company. Earlier, she worked as a public relations and public affairs consultant and held strategic communications roles on a presidential campaign and in President George W. Bush’s administration, serving in the White House Office of Presidential Personnel and at NASA as a political appointee.

Kelly Ann earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Media and Communications from George Washington University.
