Johnny Saldana

Johnny Saldana has worked in a variety of roles since 2017. Johnny began their career as an Executive Delegate for the U.S. Department of Education, representing the Greater Boston Area on the Massachusetts State Student Advisory Council. Johnny then worked as a Data Science Intern for both Empower Schools and Curoverse, Inc. During this time, they conducted research to classify eye-color using machine learning, developed a classifier that predicted student college outcomes with 80% accuracy, and developed a classifier that predicted eye-color with 95% accuracy. In 2019, they worked as a Junior Analyst for Resolve Growth Partners, a Partner for A-Level Capital, and a Woodrow Wilson Research Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University. Johnny also founded and served as President of the Johns Hopkins Quantitative Finance Society. Currently, they are a Software Engineer for RocketReach.co.

Johnny Saldana attended Commonwealth School from 2014 to 2018. Johnny is currently enrolled at The Johns Hopkins University, where they are expected to graduate in 2022 with a B.A. in Computer Science and Economics.
