Abel Ibarra

Abel Ibarra is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as an Assistant Principal at Rocketship Alma since July 2016, where responsibilities include managing STEM teachers for grades Tk/K to 5th. Prior to this role, Abel held positions as a 5th and 4th Grade STEM Teacher at KIPP Houston Public Schools from August 2014 to June 2016. Additionally, Abel volunteered as a firefighter with the Aldine Fire Department during the same period, after graduating from the Fire Academy with Firefighter 1 certification. Abel Ibarra earned a Bachelor's degree in Education from The University of Texas at Austin, completing the program in 2014.
