Jeanice Stewart

After 11 years of teaching in Washington, DC, Jeanice started at Rocketship as a founding teacher at Rocketship Rise Academy. Jeanice led the kindergarten team at Rise for two years before joining the leadership team at Legacy Prep as an Assistant Principal. Jeanice is committed to building a school community that embodies students who are not afraid to take risks, are passionate about gaining knowledge and persistent in the pursuit of meeting academic outcomes that will ensure students are victors in life. Jeanice holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Christopher Newport University, a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Trinity University and is pursuing a PhD in School Leadership from Regent University.
