Katie Shillinglaw has over 25 years of experience in the fashion industry. Katie began their career in 1995 as a Product Manager, Colorist, and Textile Designer for Mulberry Neckwear/Phillips-Van Heusen. In this role, they directed brand and design teams to ensure alignment between vision and final product, and was the product manager for Jerry Garcia neckwear. Katie also worked as a CAD and textile designer. In 2003, they were promoted to VP of Design at Mulberry Neckwear/Phillips-Van Heusen, where they translated high-level design concepts from brand leaders into innovative products. In 2008, they became President and Creative Director of rockflowerpaper, where they propelled the creative vision and rigorous execution of the product line. Katie also designed seasonal textile prints, fashion accessories, and home décor products, and drew inspiration from their travels to 10 countries.
Katie Shillinglaw received their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 1994, where they studied Fiber, Textile and Weaving Arts.
