Dorte Bartnik Johansson

Dorte Bartnik Johansson has a strong background in project management and development engineering. Dorte started their career as a Research Chemist, focusing on developing a new organic binder based on polyesters and polyamides. Dorte then moved on to work as an R&D Specialist, specializing in analytical and organic chemistry in the polymeric binder system. Dorte collaborated with universities and institutes and prioritized health and safety in the working environment.

At ROCKWOOL International, Dorte held several roles, including Senior Development Engineer and Project Manager. Dorte worked on a project exploring composite materials for insulation applications and conducted patent searches and filings. Dorte also served as a member of the Høringsudvalget and was responsible for three strategic projects in binder development, specifically focusing on sustainable formaldehyde-free binders.

Dorte also worked at Rockwool International A/S as a Project Manager and Health and Safety Representative. Dorte managed various projects and supervised the chemical labs, physical lab, mechanical lab, workshop, and part of the old factory.

Dorte Bartnik Johansson completed their Master's degree in Chemistry and Molecular biology at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark from 1998 to 2004. Dorte obtained their High School degree in Science at Faaborg Gymnasium from 1993 to 1996.

In 2017, they received a PRINCE2-FOUNDATION 2017 certification in Project Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
