Folke van Alphen

Folke van Alphen has extensive work experience in project management and engineering roles. Folke is currently working as an International Project Manager at Rockfon since March 2023. Previously, they worked as a Project Manager at Demcon advanced mechatronics from January 2022 to February 2023, where they were responsible for managing and executing projects in the medical devices industry. From January 2020 to December 2021, they worked as a Project Manager at NTS Mechatronics B.V. In these roles, they successfully managed projects from development to production and certification. Folke also has experience as a Project Program Manager at GE Healthcare from May 2018 to November 2019 and as an (NPI) Project Leader at Frencken Mechatronics from January 2017 to April 2018. Prior to that, they worked at INNOLUX Technology Europe BV as a Product Manager and Mechanical Engineer, where they were responsible for managing displays used in the mobile industry and developing display modules for the automotive industry, respectively. Their earlier work experience includes roles as a Product Engineer at Vogel's Products b.v. from March 2007 to January 2014 and as an Interior Designer/Engineer at Chateau Motorhomes from July 2006 to February 2007.

Folke van Alphen attended Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Engineering. Prior to that, they studied at Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 2002 to 2006 and earned a degree in Industrial Product Design. In 2001 and 2002, they attended Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, where they completed a Propedeuse in the Academie of Visual Arts Maastricht.
