Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer at Rockfon

Kaustav R. started their work experience as a Plant Engineer Intern at Volvo Trucks North America in 2011. During this internship, they worked on tool design and collaborated with maintenance and manufacturing engineers to optimize production processes.

In 2012, they joined Safran - Cenco, Inc as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Their responsibilities included drafting and detailing mechanical and structural assemblies for jet engine test facilities. Kaustav also designed boattails and adapter assemblies for Rolls-Royce and GE Engines.

In 2014, Kaustav worked at Navistar Inc as a Product Development Engineer. Kaustav focused on the Cab Suspension team, where they designed and analyzed existing and next-generation vehicle cab suspensions.

From 2015 to 2021, they worked at CERATIZIT USA, initially starting as a Design Engineer and later transitioning to a Manufacturing Engineer role. As a Design Engineer, they designed and developed special boring, milling, and reaming tools for customers, and analyzed their parts and processes to find tooling solutions for process improvement. In their role as a Manufacturing Engineer, they optimized manufacturing processes through new technologies and techniques, and led capital investment projects for new machinery.

Most recently, in 2021, Kaustav joined Rockfon as a Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer.

Kaustav R. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Kaustav attended the institution from 2008 to 2012.
