Jackson Charter School (JCS) is a tuition-free independent public school. Our school serves K-5th grade students within the Rockford Public School District 205 boundaries. Transportation is provided for students who are more than 1.5 miles away from our school.

The Instructional and Curriculum Support team at Jackson Charter School (JCS) is dedicated to enhancing the academic performance and instructional quality for K-5th grade students. This team collaborates to develop and implement effective math and reading curricula, provide targeted instructional support, and deliver professional development for teachers. Their roles include coaching educators in best practices, creating intervention strategies to assist struggling students, and ensuring alignment with educational standards.
