Brent Blazek

Brent Blazek has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Brent started their career as a Student, Alumni, and Membership Programs Intern at the KU Alumni Association in 2010. Later in 2011, they served as a P.J. Boatwright Intern at the United States Golf Association - Kansas Golf Association, where they managed and operated golf events and conducted player interviews. In 2012, Brent worked as a Marketing and Public Relations Intern at the International Speedway Corporation. The same year, they also served as a District Executive at the Boy Scouts of America. Brent then joined the University of Kansas Athletics as an Event Operations Assistant from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as an Assistant Director of Alumni and Constituent Relations at Rockhurst University, building and maintaining relationships with alumni and donors. Brent then served as an Assistant Director of Advancement from 2016 to 2017, managing university donors and developing marketing strategies. From 2017 to 2021, Brent was the Director of Alumni and Parent Relations at Rockhurst University, leading the alumni relations team and handling fundraising and engagement programs. Brent then became the Senior Director of Alumni and Donor Relations in 2021 before assuming their current role as the Associate Athletic Director of Development and Engagement at Rockhurst University in 2022. Overall, Brent has a strong background in alumni relations, donor engagement, event management, and marketing.

Brent Blazek holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Kansas, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010. Brent then pursued a Master of Education in Sports and Fitness Management from the same university from 2010 to 2012. Later, from 2014 to 2017, they completed a Master of Business Administration at Rockhurst University.
