Rachel Pierce is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in academic and clinical settings. Currently, Rachel serves as the Director of the Counseling Center at Rockhurst University since August 2018, after previously holding the position of Assistant Director. Prior to this role, Rachel worked at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2006 to June 2018 as a Counseling Services Staff Psychologist and liaison to Health Sciences Programs, providing clinical services and consultation. Rachel also served as a Staff Psychologist and Outreach Coordinator at Central Missouri State University from 2004 to 2006, where teaching duties included courses in psychology. Earlier in career, Rachel was a Staff Psychologist at The University of Akron Psychology Department while pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, completed in 2004. Rachel holds a B.A. in Psychology from Concordia University Chicago.
