Risa Stein

Risa Stein, PhD, MA, is the founder of SeeInMe since June 2021, focusing on person-centered coordinated care and enhancing caregiver contributions to improve health outcomes. As a professor of psychology at Rockhurst University since January 1998, Risa specializes in Clinical Health and Child Psychology, with interests in innovation and design thinking, while currently on phased retirement. Risa served as CEO of Aamica from January 2020 to July 2021, where compassion was crowdsourced through the Aamica Connect app. Risa also worked as a Strategic Design Consultant at HOPE Health Research Institute, designing behavioral health solutions through innovative strategies. Additional experience includes editorial work for the Journal of Evolution and Health and serving as Senior Project Coordinator for a significant NIH grant with the USAF. Risa holds a PhD in Clinical Health and Child Psychology from The University of Memphis and an MA in Organizational Leadership from Rockhurst University.
