Elijah Simpson

Elijah Simpson currently serves as a Deputy Clerk for Juvenile A/N/D and Delinquency at Rockingham County since May 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Project Coordinator at Canter Power Systems from August 2022 to April 2023, and as a CMS Volunteer with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools from March 2022 to May 2022. Additionally, Elijah held an internship at Niner Times from September 2020 to May 2022, and worked as a Retail Assistant at Five Below from March 2019 to January 2022. Early career experience includes positions as a Youth Assistant at YMCA from August 2017 to June 2018, and as an Office Assistant in the University Choir Office at Johnson C. Smith University from August 2016 to June 2017. Elijah obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Urban Youth and Communities from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, graduating in June 2022.
