Sydney B. Woodlieff

Sydney B. Woodlieff (James) is an experienced health and physical education teacher currently employed at Rockingham County Public Schools since September 2022. Prior to this role, Sydney served as a Senior Program Assistant and Marketing Specialist at the Madison-Mayodan Recreation Department, where event planning for senior citizens and communication strategy development were key responsibilities. Additional experience includes positions as a Marketing Coordinator for WMC Students, Campus Director for University Tees at UNC-Chapel Hill, and a Marketing Intern with Keep Durham Beautiful Inc. Sydney is also the creator of a philanthropy-based brand, SENT. Shirt, and has served as a referee for USA Volleyball. Community outreach efforts included an internship with summit Chu and a position as Assistant Director of Youth Ministry at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Sydney holds a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is pursuing a Teaching Certification in Health and Physical Education through Teachers of Tomorrow.
