Debra Bouabidi

Debra Bouabidi is an accomplished educational administrator currently serving as the Interim Director of Grant Initiatives at Rockland Community College since January 2025, where responsibilities include managing the institutional grant portfolio, overseeing accounting, budget reconciliation, applications, compliance, and reporting. Prior to this role, Debra held the position of Executive Director of Educational Planning at the same institution from June 2007 to January 2024, managing critical offices including Student Accounts, Records & Registration, and Financial Aid. Debra also served as the Director of Financial Aid, overseeing the administration of various financial aid programs. Earlier in the career, Debra was the Vice President for Student Financial Services at TCI College from June 1992 to June 2007, managing federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs while supervising a substantial staff. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in College Student Personnel Services from the University of Northern Iowa and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology from Central College.
