Amal de Silva Wijeyeratne serves as the CEO and Managing Director of Rockland Distilleries (Pvt) Ltd since January 2005, where responsibilities include driving rapid sales growth and relaunching the company's portfolio following the tsunami. Prior experience includes a role as Merger Integrations Manager at Deloitte UK from 2003 to October 2004, where participation in a highly selective team focused on merger integrations occurred. Amal also worked as a Senior Consultant in Strategy & Change Management at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young (2002-2003) and as a Senior Consultant at Gemini Consulting (2000-2002), leading projects focused on change management and sales and marketing in various industries. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Cranfield University (1999-2000) and a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from UCL (1992-1995).
