Carl Ascoli, BS, MS, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Carl joined Rockland Immunochemicals, Inc. in 1991 as a Senior Scientist and utilized their skills in molecular immunology to produce specific antibodies for academic collaborators. In 1993, they were promoted to Laboratory Director, overseeing all aspects of the company's operations. At www.marlboroughpa.org, they served as the Chairmen of the Board of Supervisors from 2006 to 2011, contributing to the governance of Marlborough Township. During their postdoctoral fellowship at The Wistar Institute, University of Pennsylvania, from 1988 to 1990, Dr. Ascoli studied the properties of autoantibodies in relation to Primary Biliary Cirrhosis, a human autoimmune disease.
Carl Ascoli obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Rutgers University, where they studied from 1978 to 1983. Carl then continued their education at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where they earned both their Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees in Biochemistry from 1983 to 1988.
