Alain Hofmann

Alain Hofmann is a seasoned Senior IC Test Engineer with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently at Rockley Photonics Inc. since April 2020, Alain previously held senior roles at Broadcom Inc., where responsibilities included defining test programs for the Fiber Optic Product Division, and at Intersil as a Principal Test Engineer. Alain's earlier roles as a Senior RF Test Engineer at companies like Quellan, Marvell, and Airgo Networks involved testing RF devices and developing test programs for various technologies, particularly in the 802.11N space. Alain began the career at Philips Semiconductors, focusing on testing cell phone baseband and RF devices. Alain holds a Bachelor’s degree in microelectronics from EPFL, obtained in 1988.
