John Dromey possesses extensive experience in the field of mortgage underwriting and real estate appraisal. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Underwriter at Rockport Mortgage Corporation since February 2004, John specializes in analyzing and underwriting FHA multifamily and healthcare mortgage insurance applications. Prior to this role, John worked at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as a Senior Multifamily Appraiser, where valuation and underwriting reviews were provided for FHA loans. Earlier in John’s career, as Regional Manager and Senior Real Estate Appraiser at Vesta Realty Services, John managed a real estate office and executed numerous complex appraisal assignments. John received a BBA, BA, and M.Ed in Finance, History, and Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
