Abelardo Polonio

Abelardo Polonio is a highly experienced lighting artist with a career spanning over 20 years in the gaming industry. Currently serving as an Expert Lead Lighting Artist at Rocksteady Studios Ltd since August 2017, Abelardo has previously held roles including Lead Lighting Artist at Sperasoft and Senior Lighting Artist at Rocksteady Studios. Abelardo's tenure at Rebellion involved overseeing the lighting process for Alien vs Predator 3, while earlier positions included Environment Artist at Razorworks Limited and Level Designer/Environment Artist at Enigma Software Productions and Nebula Entertainment. Educated at Teesside University with a BA in Computer Games Design, Abelardo specializes in creating high-quality lighting that enhances visual quality and gameplay, while also optimizing workflows and mentoring other artists.
