Samir Kapadia

Mr. Samir Kapadia is a Vice President and a member of the Investment Committee at Rockstud Capital Investment Fund, since its inception. He has over +8 years of professional experience in Indian Equity Markets overseeing multiple functions, including Strategy & Planning, Investments and Fund Operations. He has played a pivotal role in setting up and launching Rockstud Capital Investment Fund, a SEBI registered Category II AIF as well as setting up the investment team.

Samir in his earlier roles has been responsible for equity research, generating new investment ideas and tracking the performance of existing holdings of proprietary investments at Rockstud Capital LLP (erstwhile Fortune Interfinance Ltd). Prior to joining Rockstud Capital LLP, he worked with ITI Securities (now The Investment Trust of India Limited group company) where he was responsible for assisting Equity Fund Manager cum Head of Research for on-going monitoring and tracking of portfolio companies while simultaneously assisting senior research analyst in investment analysis and preparation of research report. He is a detailed-oriented individual and equity investing is his passion.

Samir is a commerce graduate from K.C. College, Mumbai University; Postgraduate Diploma holder in Securities Law from Government Law College, Mumbai University; and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), USA Level I Cleared.
