Instructional Technology Specialist at Rockwall ISD

Cheryl Kelly serves as an Instructional Technology Specialist at Rockwall since August 2007, focusing on enhancing teacher capacity in using technology to improve student learning and engagement. In a concurrent role at Rockwall ISD since August 2004, Cheryl has developed curriculum and designed lessons for gifted and talented students in grades K-6. Previous experience includes teaching 3rd grade gifted students in ELA and Social Studies at Garland ISD and serving as a 4th grade teacher at Rockwall ISD, where curriculum development was a key responsibility. Earlier teaching roles spanned various grades and subjects, including kindergarten, second, third, and seventh grade Science and Reading at Washoe County School District. Cheryl holds a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Texas at Tyler.
