Etan began his professional career as a Tax Accountant specializing in real estate at Ernst & Young. He joined Garden Property Management Corporation (GPM) in 1991 as its controller. There, he developed and implemented a hands-on internal control system emphasized on-site quality management. In 1994, he founded Rockwell Management Corp.
Etan graduated Cum Laude from Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business in New York with a BS in Accounting in 1987. Etan is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) through IREM, a Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) with the National Apartment Association (NAA), and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) with the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute (CIREI). He is an active member of the Houston Apartment Association (HAA) and is a trustee of HAA’s Better Government Fund. He is a licensed real estate broker by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC).
