Terrilyn Sharpe has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Terrilyn started their career as a Senior Clinical Research Associate at Solvay Pharmaceuticals in 2000, where they identified clinical investigators for Parkinson's Disease studies and collaborated on study protocols and manuscript submissions. Terrilyn then joined UCB Pharma in 2001 as a Clinical Project Manager, leading pediatric epilepsy programs and overseeing the selection of CROs for monitoring studies. In 2005, Sharpe became the Director of Clinical Research at Shionogi Pharma, where they managed non-clinical and Phase I-IV clinical programs and a $20M research budget. Terrilyn then joined Questcor Pharmaceuticals in 2010 as Director of Clinical Operations, building operational capabilities and overseeing sponsor conducted clinical programs. In 2013, they joined Arbor Pharmaceuticals as Director of Clinical Development, responsible for overseeing non-clinical and Phase I-IV clinical programs and managing outsourced research activities. Currently, Sharpe is working as the Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Rockwell Medical, Inc.
Terrilyn Sharpe received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biotechnology from Rochester Institute of Technology, where they attended from 1985 to 1989. Later, they pursued a Master of Science in Health Sciences (MSHS) with a focus on Clinical Research Administration from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, completing their studies from 2002 to 2004.
