Flemming Silfwander has a diverse and extensive work experience in supply chain management. Flemming currently holds the position of Director Group Supply Chain at ROCKWOOL Group, a world leader in stone wool solutions. Prior to this, they served as the Group Supply Chain Manager at the same company.

Before joining ROCKWOOL Group, Flemming worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific, a leading global science service company. Flemming held various roles including EMEA Supply Chain Director, Global Supply Chain Director for Laboratory Consumables Division, and Global Supply Chain Director for Labware & Specialty Plastics Business Unit.

Earlier in their career, Flemming worked at Ambu, a medical device company, as the VP of Supply Chain. Flemming was responsible for overseeing the supply chain operations across manufacturing sites in Denmark, Malaysia, and China.

Flemming also worked at Medicotest as the Corporate Logistics Manager, where they led a team and worked on developing and optimizing logistics. And at Boston Scientific Corporation, they served as a Customer Service Manager and Supply Chain Planning Manager.

Throughout their career, Flemming has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a focus on optimizing supply chain processes.

Flemming Silfwander has a diverse education history. Flemming started their education journey at Toftehøjskolen from 1972 to 1981, where they obtained their Afgangsekssamen degree in NA. Flemming then attended Stenløse Gymnasium from 1984 to 1986 and achieved their Studenter eksamen in Nysproglig. Continuing their education, they attended Ballerup Handelsskole from 1987 to 1988, earning a HH degree in Højere Handelseksamen. Later, they attended Niels Brock Handelsakademi from 1989 to 1991 and graduated as an Academy Economist, specializing in Logistics and transportation. Flemming further enriched their knowledge by attending SIMI (Scandinavian International Management Institute) in 1999, where they received a MMPI degree in Managing Medical Product Innovation. Finally, they completed an Executive MBA program at SIMI/CBS (Scandinavian International Management Institute) from 2001 to 2003, focusing on Leadership.
