Maria Walker

Maria Walker is a Personal Banker at the Whitehall Banking Center for Rocky Mountain Bank. Maria has also worked as the Global Lead Partner for Private Equity at KPMG US, the Chief Financial Officer at Lightspeed Venture Partners, and the Administrative Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Forward Ventures.

Walker began their career in 2000 as the administrative partner and chief operating officer at Forward Ventures. In 2005, they became the chief financial officer of Lightspeed Venture Partners. And in 2008, they took on the role of global lead partner for private equity at KPMG US.

In July 2018, Walker co-founded Recuerdo Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical stage startup focused on postponement of Alzheimer’s disease, alongside two renowned Alzheimer's researchers. Maria served as the company's CEO until February 2020.

Maria Walker completed their undergraduate studies in economics at UC San Diego. Maria then went on to obtain their MBA from UC Berkeley.
